What Is Bugging You?

Based on recent surveys done with Serve! the e-zine, we know that there are issues that are keeping our readers from becoming all they can be. Our recent survey shows that something in the range of about 800 various causes are inhibiting our readers from stretching out of becoming all they aspire to be as outreach leaders. We don't seek to blame our sense of being stuck upon any list but it is good to be aware of all the cause and effect that is going on in life around us. With that in mind I ask, do you know what is bugging you?

I think I know what is bugging me the most. It is that sense that there are many things vying for my attention but it is difficult to know which one is the most important thing to pay attention to. In the middle doing a lot of servant evangelism the enemy often becomes time management issues. It may sound hard to believe but truthfully there are lots of things that come flying across the theater of your mind that seek to gain sole dedication to your attention. When great things begin to happen in your life is easy to lose track of which great things go in what order.

I encourage you then, make it your business to focus yourself on what God places in front of you. You and I can only do what is next on the agenda – that’s all we can ever do. God gives us the capacity to focus and dedicate our attention to what we are all about in the moment. As we do that we are able to live in enduring greatness. That’s the kind of stuff that causes the work of our hands to last for the long haul.
