To All Easter People – Let’s Love As We Have Been Loved

“I love the idea behind servant evangelism but our people don’t seem to get the idea when it comes to doing things. Can you help me?”

This is one of the most common questions I get online and in person as I interact with people over the notion of servant evangelism.

SE is a paradox. It is one of the easiest things you and I will ever do in life once we get the hang of it, yet it is one of those things that can be difficult to convey to people who have not yet participated in it. Until they get involved in doing it it is a bit like describing the color red to a blind person. It is far better experienced than talked about.

I am not the person that is necessarily best at explaining how to convey servant evangelism to others in spite of what others may think. I have my ideas about how this stuff works but the very best person to explain SE is the one who has just gotten involved in it.

“…the very best person to explain SE is the one who has just gotten involved in it.”

To such a person who has seen life touch them it is a bit like breathing after they have been holding their breath. Learning to love God and others in this way is a living outlet that is sometimes difficult to explain and far better to experience.
We are free to love others as we have been loved.
